But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect.

1 Peter 3:15

This world looks nothing like the promised perfect kingdom of God.  And yet we as God’s people must live in it every day.  In The Book of 1 Peter, Kyle Idleman walks through the short letter and unpacks the importance of our witness in this world.

The world’s not as it should be.  Until the day that God rights all wrongs, we have a job to do.  Let’s be about the business of the kingdom.

This Growth Group is a study of the Scriptures.  Reading, studying, and gaining a better understanding of the Bible is a great way to become stronger in the faith and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.  This growth is accelerated when we go on this journey together.

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Peter 2:24

“Were You There?” is a poignant and beautiful Easter song that asks the questions, “Were you there when they crucified my Lord?”; “Were you there when they nailed him to the cross?”: “Were you there when they pierced him in the side?”; and “Were you there when the sun refused to shine?”  The song asks the participant to imagine the emotional and spiritual depths that people who witnessed Jesus’ crucifixion experienced.

This Growth Group will look in depth at people who can answer those questions from their own unique viewpoints.  In the 12 Voices of Easter, we will consider Judas Iscariot’s voice of betrayal, Peter’s voice of denial, the thief’s voice of faith, along with nine other eyewitnesses to that tragic day when our Lord willingly gave up his life on the cross to save us.

Join us through this Lent season.  The voices of Pilate, the centurion, and the chief priests will inspire you to look at Christ’s sacrifice and ultimate victory with a whole new perspective.  What would your testimony from that day be?

These groups are closed for registration, but we look forward to seeing you join in the Fall!
