Transition

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3: 5,6

From the time David and I began serving together in ministry at Enon, we have prayed about the future.  Under God’s direction, and with the church’s blessing, we have made the transitions of David becoming an associate pastor and then a co-pastor.  God has consistently and faithfully blessed the church during it all.

Now, once again, transition is in the making.  Effective July 1st, David stepped into the position of “Lead Pastor.”  This decision was not rushed into nor taken lightly.  It’s the result of much prayer and planning.  Doug and I are not leaving the church, and I am not stepping out of my pastoral service.  We are simply moving into a new season of ministry, and I trust our Lord has got some great plans in store for us as we all continue to serve HIM together!

Excited to keep doing the journey together!

Pastor Tammy

I am thankful every day for the love and support of Enon.  I am also thankful every day for the love and support of Pastor Tammy as she has mentored me in ministry.  Regardless of roles and responsibilities, we have always been partners in serving the church.

For many years now, I have approached ministry from the viewpoint of recognizing needs in the church and working to fulfill those needs.  This has led to many great experiences as a youth teacher, music director and other important roles.

More than ever before, I am drawn to focus my attention and efforts on what I have always considered my primary calling: preparing and equipping others for ministry.

I am eager to use all my capability into the sole focus of ministry.  I am excited to see how God will continue to use our church family to fulfill His wonderful purpose for Enon Church.
