“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under
compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8
The harvest is here. It is a season when the fields turn gold, the barns fill up, and a grateful
people stop to say, “Thank you, Lord. You have been good.”
This November, Enon Church invites you into that season with our Harvest Offering.
Look North. Walk to the north side of our building. Look past the grass and the open ground all
the way to the tree line. Every bit of that land is property God has already given to us.
We believe He gave it for a reason. Our classrooms are packed. Our offices are tight. And if God
keeps doing what He has been doing among us, we will continue to outgrow these walls. We
are not worried about that. We are excited about it.
Keep in Mind this is not your tithe. Keep bringing that faithfully. The Harvest Offering is something more: a
gift above and beyond. It’s a “just because He has been so good to me” kind of gift. Every dollar
goes to the Enon building fund. Some of you have been sowing into it for a long time, and we
thank you. Now we invite the whole church family to join in.
There will be no passing of the plates and no pressure. Baskets will wait near the sanctuary
entrances all month. When God stirs your heart, walk up and place your gift inside. So pray first.
Ask God what to give. Then give gladly and watch what God builds on that ground.
The seed is in our hands. The field is waiting. Let’s sow.
