While I was waiting on the Lord,
A thought was given me.
I share that thought at Easter,
About the Cross of Calvary
God sent Christ out of love,
A love that was denied.
Rejected by the world,
God’s only Son was crucified
The grave was not the end,
The best was yet to be.
Today, He sits upon a throne,
And intercedes for you and me.
Fill your heart with love,
You’ll find it at the Cross.
Share that love with others,
Let all the world rejoice!
Receive salvation, Celebrate!
His love for us is free.
HE IS ALIVE! He waits for ALL,
To join Him for eternity
